18 new updates published

Juan Vuletich-4
Hi Folks,

I've just pushed 18 new updates and a new image to GitHub. This includes
many contributions from Andres Valloud and Ken Dickey.

Andrés did a lot of stuff in Collections, Numerics and elsewhere. Ken
made layout code easier to understand.

I did a new Fast Window Reframe that doesn't need any settings. It will
just be used if Morphic starts to get too slow (as in the RasPi). Nacho,
please test!!!

I also did a couple of tweaks in the image, and a new compatibility
package, to help Dave T. Lewis support Cuis with the same code base as
Squeak and Pharo. Dave, please test!

Cheers,
Juan Vuletich

Folks, if I missed any contribution you sent me, please let me know.

I'll go to the pool to swim for a while now.

Thanks you Juan and all the contributors!

Andrés, glad to see you working in Cuis, may I ask what are your projects with Cuis?

Yesterday I pushed a bunch of updates. FastWindowReframe is no longer automatic. It is a preference, and it is send if you do #slowMachine.

Let me know how it works on the Pi.

Cheers,
Juan Vuletich

Hi Juan,
Happy new year!
Thanks for the updates, I will try them today.
I'm working in a control panel for Cuis to control de RasPi's settings (HDMI, over-clocking, sharing between RAM and GPU RAM, etc).
Another thing I'm working on is trying to get Cuis running under Wayland-Weston instead of X. It's way much faster, but for now I had no success.
Cheers!

Juan,
This is great. Works perfect and it really makes a difference in performance.
I guess that from the image side we tweak the necessary stuff.
Now it's time to work on RasPi's OS, settings and of course the VM.
Thanks so much.
Best
Nacho
