Hi Folks,
I've just published 2 new updates and an updated image.
The first one is a slowdown when opening and resizing windows that I
introduced by mistake in 4.1. It was found by Tim Rowledge while testing
on the Raspberry PI (you can see squeak-dev for details). At first I
thought it was a consequence of the new Float local coordinates, but it
turns out that it was just a bug.
The second one is to disable the new and much better
AndreasSystemProfiler if running on an old VM that doesn't include the
new primitives. BTW, it seems that none of the VMs referenced from
squeakVM.org includes them. For the performance issue, I wanted to
profile code with a Stack-VM (i.e. a non-Cog VM). I could not find a
Stack-VM that includes them for Mac or Windows. Does anybody know if
such thing exists in binary form?
Cheers,
Juan Vuletich
