64 bit memory

John Duff
Can someone please confirm?.... VA Smalltalk will be limited to 4 GB memory (or less?) even when running on 64-bit Windows 7?

I've seen references in the 8.0.1 forums that VA Smalltalk that this was the case, but couldn't find any updates in 8.0.2 or 8.0.3.

Thanks.

Aw: 64 bit memory

Marten Feldtmann-2
It's just a 32-bit application ... therefore the limitations of 32-bit programs are: in general up to 2 GB (in special cases up to 3 GB).
