7.8 non-commercial / academic shipped?

Unfortunately this involves the legal department, so I can't quantify it any more than that. My personal target would be "some time ago".

I wonder whether Cincom has already shipped 7.8 non-commercial CDs and
those for academic users? If not, when can I expect a copy?

A simpler question - did commercial 7.8 ship?  At our shop, the product goes into a bucket somewhere distant from where we actually work with VW, so knowing it shipped would tell us that it's time to go track the CD down
