8.01 Cairo => SurfacePattern surface: gives bad status error

Hi,

When moving from 8.0  to 8.01 I get a bad status error when providing a Cairo Image Surface to a Pattern.

I do something like this.

The problem seems not related to the Cairo dll’s as changing to the older ones didn’t help. Running the 8.01 vm with an 8.0 image just works fine.

It happens both on OS X and on Windows.

The asset I use is defined by something like this below and clearly shows off as an ImageSurface with the inspector.
