A beta patch level 3 script for Dolphin XP 5.1 PRO is available for download

A beta patch level 3 script for Dolphin XP 5.1 PRO is available for download
from:

http://object-arts.com/Lib/Update/Dolphin/5.1/PL3.st

There are 28 patches in the script, mostly enhancements or of a cosmetic
nature. You can view the full list of updates here:

http://object-arts.com/Lib/Update/Dolphin/5.1/PL3.htm

As usual we recommend that the patch be installed onto a fresh 5.1 PL1
image.

The patch is a beta and should only be installed for testing purposes. We
anticipate that the patch will be released via LiveUpdate for all versions
early next week.

Thanks,

Theo Pronk
Blair,

I got this error while filing in PL3.st.

My PC is running winMe so may be only related to me.

Obviously on a clean 5.1.2

Regards,
Theo

PS I'm particularly interested in patch 1387 as I was having various
problems with idespatch and this may solve the problems.

Thanks Theo. I just tryed installing the patch on Windows 98 (under VMWare),
and I got exactly the same problem, so it isn't just you.

I have replaced the patch and you should find that it will no install
without problems, however it has still not been fully tested on your
platform. Actually we don't routinely test on WinMe, although it should be
similar in most respects (apart from being even more unreliable) to Windows
98. We test patches on WinXP, Win2k, Win98 and WinNT4, but typically we
release a beta patch after testing on only the first of these. We no longer
support Windows 95 or NT 3.51 and earlier as these are no longer supported
by Microsoft (since end 2002 in fact).

If the problems are with passing byte arrays, perhaps it might.
