Dear All,
The Smalltalk way of programming is really cool. However, we believe things can be significantly improved when talking about code profiling and testing. Over the last few months, we have worked hard on producing: - the Kai CPU profiling tool. It outputs some nice graphical report on where the CPU time is being spent on. It also indicates where you could introduce a memoization cache - the Hapao test coverage tool. It employs an effective and intuitive graphical representation to visually assess the quality of the coverage. Screenshots and descriptions may be found on http://objectprofile.com Everything is available on the Cincom public store, under the MIT license. There is a number of sophisticated technologies involved into this. So if you find a bug, we will do our best in a timely fashion to fix it. We pushed it hard before flying to STIC. Feedbacks are welcomed. Great! Congratulations!
I looked at your web site (very nice) and am sure that I will give the tools a try. About your company - I think this is really good to go commercial, I was missing any information about how you will make money to ensure a stable future. You offer the tools under MIT (great!) and you love to take on academic challenges and work to apply them to the industrial reality. So, where is the money? I wish you good luck and great success, Christian > -----Ursprüngliche Nachricht----- > Von: [hidden email] [mailto:[hidden email]] Im > Auftrag von Alexandre Bergel > Gesendet: Montag, 19.
