I've tried to register my trial from http://www.object-arts.com/Trial/Registration.htm but keep getting a "cannot find server" response. Thanks, John Urberg |

The server seems okay at the moment; perhaps the network was playing up when you tried earlier. A test registration worked for me just now and we have had quite a few normal registrations today. Has anyone else out there had similar problems? Mikael,
Well that at least shows the server is up and accessible. The walkback is caused because the link you clicked doesn't supply the appropriate registration information to the CGI program which should be gathered by the registration form at: http://www.object-arts.com/Trial/Registration.htm Best Regards Andy Bower Dolphin Support http://www.object-arts.com/Support.htm Not all Addictions are Bad for you http://www.object-arts.com/Addiction.htm Mikael Svane" <[hidden email]> wrote in message news:9jkn62$omkss$[hidden email]... > Andy, > > I just tried the link that John mentioned, and I got the following text in > IE: > > ----------------------------------------Unhandled exception - a > NotFoundError('Not found: Product') > IdentityDictionary(Object)>>errorNotFound: > IdentityDictionary(Dictionary)>>errorKeyNotFound: [] in > IdentityDictionary(Dictionary)>>at: > IdentityDictionary(LookupTable)>>at:ifAbsent: > IdentityDictionary(Dictionary)>>at: TrialRegistration>>register > TrialRegistrationSessionManager>>main > TrialRegistrationSessionManager(SessionManager)>>mainLoopStarted [] in > TrialRegistrationSessionManager(SessionManager)>>forkMain > InputState>>loopWhile: InputState>>mainLoop [] in InputState>>forkMain > ExceptionHandler(ExceptionHandlerAbstract)>>markAndTry [] in > ExceptionHandler(ExceptionHandlerAbstract)>>try: > BlockClosure>>ensure: ExceptionHandler(ExceptionHandlerAbstract)>>try: > BlockClosure>>on:do: [] in > BlockClosure>>newProcess ---------------------------------------- > > > Hope this helps. > > Regards, > Mikael Svane > [hidden email] > > "Andy Bower" <[hidden email]> skrev i meddelandet > news:9jkmmb$oirkj$[hidden email]... > > John, > > > > > > Yes, the trial is still available. Is it possible that you may have some sort of firewall or proxy server that would restrict outgoing connections to port 8080? You could try pinging the host to see if there may be a network problem. If ping fails you could do a tracert to see where the connection is being lost. Chris |
