Here you have in the last part the code and the old rescued book. Works in almost any Squeak, tested in trunk 10732. Comes to us as I working on the revamp version of FunSqueak for Christmas present from me to all good boys and girls around the world, so made a new visit to dungeons and found it. Again , gracias Leandro , Valeria, all in Buenos Aires for doing this in 1998. Edgar |
Great work!
This was and still is among the most innovative things done in Squeak and has inspired me a lot then, especially "Morphic Wrappers"! Glad to see it working in the latest releases again.

Glad see you again, the great work you do some years ago was inspirational to me and if you have the originals CD, maybe is time to see we could made a 2010 Trunk version. Indeed, those Squeak News interactive CD's are great. I think I still have my CDs, which used to arrive in my mailbox just like a magazine. I bet that many of the folks on this list have never even seen this. Of course nowadays you would want to distribute the magazine directly to an iPad, rather than mailing the CD (or to Android pads if Apple does not cooperate). I suspect that something like Squeak News distributed to an iPad has the potential to be a real "killer app". Dave |
Sure!!! I full agree.
I have in some SqueakNews on old backups also, and really were a great source of knowledgment to me. I think most of us miss you Tansel in Smalltalk world! Germán. 2010/12/3 David T.
