Squeak-web image is an image made for squeak web developers based on
the Squeak-dev image. If you use it, please tell me. You can download it here: http://damien.cassou.free.fr/squeak-web/ This release is based on the Squeak-dev image version 95-2. It includes Seaside 2.7, Scriptaculous, Magritte and Pier. Everything should just work. Dear Damien,
I am very new to Smalltalk and Seaside. Right now, I want to learn Seaside so that I can develop some innovative web applications. I downloaded the Image from www.seaside.st and have started using it. How is your image different from the one there. I would be very happy if you could throw light on the best tutorial for someone who is new to both Smalltalk and Seaside. As of now, I am going through David Shaffer's tutorial. Thanks in advance. David Shaffer's ones are really interesting but a bit old (should work on Seaside 2.6 but not on 2.7 by default). You may have a look at the ones of Lukas Renggli: http://www.lukas-renggli.ch/smalltalk/seaside. Dear Damein,
Thanks a lot for your quick and prompt reply. Indeed I was encountering some problems using David's tutorial for Seaside 2.7 I have already installed Squeak 3.9 and Seaside 2.7. So, If I want to use your image, is it just that I delete the directory containing Squeak and Seaside( In Windows OS) or any other thing needs to be done. I am more interested in using Scriptaculous in my web app, so Lukas's tutorials should do. Are there any other tutorials dedicated to Scriptaculous. Thanks in advance, Rajeev

If you want to use my image, forget about the one of seaside.st. Just download mine, and put the .image, .changes, .sources and the vm in a new directory. > I am more interested in using Scriptaculous in my web app, so Lukas's > tutorials should do.
