[Aida 6.0 beta and Scribo 1.0 beta] testers needed

Hi all!

We are happy to anounce that Aida 6.0 and Scribo 1.0 are very close to a
first beta.

We would like to release them in a week, so testers are welcome. The
development repositories are :

http://mc.bioskop.fr/Aida
http://scribo.bioskop.fr/repository/

You can find installation instructions for Scribo at:
http://scribo.bioskop.fr/wiki/installation-guide.html

The easiest way to install Scribo is probably to use the Installer, just
DoIt:

Installer installUrl: 'http://scribo.bioskop.fr/wiki/installer.html'

Known issues of Scribo can be found at:
<a href="http://scribo.bioskop.fr/roadmap/milestones/1.0%">http://scribo.bioskop.fr/roadmap/milestones/1.0%
20stable.html?view=tickets&status=active

If you find a bug, don't hesitate to report it here, on the
mailing-list.

Good news!

The one thing I have failed to report for a while is that if you load

Swazoo-2.2.beta1.mcz and Aida5.6-janko.65.mcz and try SwazooAida demoStart, you get

SwazooServer(Object)>>doesNotUnderstand: #watchdogOther

[] in SwazooServer>>startWatchdog {[[true] whileTrue: [self watchdogSites. self watchdogOther. (Delay f...]}

[] in BlockContext>>newProcess {[self value. Processor terminateActive]}

which is slightly out of my area of understanding of Swazoo and Aida...

To help testers, I made a preconfigured image with aida and scribo
installed and a Scribo site running. You can download this image at:

bioskop.fr/Scribo-08.19.2008.zip

A scribo site is running on port 8888.

Username: admin
Password: password

Blog : http://localhost:8888/blog.html
Wiki : http://localhost:8888/wiki.html
Website : http://localhost:8888/site.html

About this image:

- Squeak3.9.1-final-7075
- Swazoo2.2-beta2
- Aida-np.66
- Scribo-np.114
- ScriboPlugins-np.9
- ScriboPersistence-mu-14
