Alt key on Mac?

cdavidshaffer
I just got an iMac with the Mac wireless keyboard.  I have a key labeled alt/option but it doesn't seem to be the "alt" key needed to trigger menu shortcuts, for example.  I've tried other various qualifier keys and combinations but I can't seem to hit the combo.  Anyone have a hint?  :-)

The alt/option key on mac is actually the key you use to put in fancy symbols, like this: Ω
So, if you want your app to work cross platform, unfortunately right now your only option is to not use alt as the modifier for menus. Perhaps we might want to remap alt to mean Command when you're on MacOSX.
