Amber in PhoneGap

Andrew McQuiggin
I've added to the wiki a description of steps for a basic use of Amber
in PhoneGap: https://github.com/NicolasPetton/amber/wiki/Packaging-Amber-code-in-a-PhoneGap-%28Cordova%29-app.
I'm sure it can be improved, particularly as I only have access to an
Android device to try it on. Perhaps someone would like to try another
platform?

Seeing the classbrowser there... it's just really cool.

Yes, and the icing on the cake...running 95 tests in sUnit on my phone and seeing them all pass! (shown in the final image)

Almost all of the effort was in the set-up of the Android SDK, Eclipse and PhoneGap on my Windows Laptop - Amber just worked. After this Hello app it took only five minutes to get the Amber Professor Stef over to my phone too (There is just a known PhoneGap issue with text selection I'm still working on).

In the screen shots you might notice that I put the phone in airplane mode just show it was running an installed app. Actually, Jack Palevich did his Android Amber example first, and when I saw that I thought I'd share my experience with PhoneGap and the access to the device that it provides.
