Some of this sounds too cool to be true ;-)

I must say I like the product roadmap more and more with each release. In my dreams our customers use a Linux or maybe a Fuchsia tablet with a VA ST app to connect to our Kontolino! servers and do their accounting with a a few fingertips, all powered by Smalltalk...

Any idea how close that ECAP will be to a final version? I can wait until May for an answer to this question, but it will help me plan for my GBS 5.4.5 release.

Greeting,

The next ECAP will be big. It will most likely have the new JIT compiler in it along with some other long-time coming features we'll announce.

However, lots more changes are coming too. So no, it will not look like the final.

As demonstrated in the letter...there is just a lot going on here:)
