Announcements & vw7.1

I've loaded Announcements into a 7.1 image and have run the unit tests.
All tests have passed.
I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with Announcements in 7.1?
Any issues or problems?

I can't think of any reason why Announcements wouldn't work in 7.1.
Ephemerons are the only fancy prerequisite, and they appeared in 7.0.
