Hello All,
Upon selecting Store menu/action we get
this:
<Unable to connect to "" because of the
following error:
Database client libraries are inaccessible. Either the Object Engine has not been linked....> Have searched and tried all the suggested
path-related fixed.
Have tried to verify our oracle connection and it
seems okay.
Seems to occur on a Windows 7 system as opposed to older xp.
If anyone has experience with the
error....
Thank You

Gary, <Unable to connect to "" because of the following error: I'll take a shot in the dark on this one: Is it possible that you're Win7 Installation is a 64x installation? If so, you're in an interesting place. "Standard" VW on Windows is 32 bit. If your database client library is 64 bit, then there is a mismatch. So, either you need to run 64 bit VW with your 64 bit client library, or you need to install 32 bit client library dlls. What Database platform are you using. Thanks Sam,
For Store, we're using Oracle.

Gary, For Store, we're using Oracle. The VM "bit size" must match the DLL. My guess you installed the 64Bit Oracle client. The default VW VM (and image) is 32 bit... Either install the 32 bit Oracle client or move to the 64 bit VM (and image). Many guesses there. And So It Goes Sames ______________________________________________________________________ Samuel S.
