Aubergines

Richard Eng
Just curious: Where did the name "Aubergines" in Seaside come from? I've Googled the name but I can't find any information on its origin (other than the fact that it's a vegetable).

Thanks,
Richard

I guess, it's a joke! Aubergines are bigger than Beans, Java beans!
So as an alternative to Enterprise Java Beans, there's Squeak Enterprise
Aubergines Side = SEASide.

Avi should confirm this. If I get it well...

The FOLDOC (Free On-Line Dictionary of Computing) defines aubergine
as a "secret term used to refer to computers in the presence of
computerphobic third parties."  See <http://foldoc.org/?aubergine>.
I had never heard this, but I like it!
