Beta 1.0-beta 8 upgrade steps

Sorry, I do not get or find it. Is the beta now actual  and what are the
needed steps to  upgrade to it?

I haven't been in the habit of sending mail to this list whenever I post

I'd just like to say thanks for the smoothless upgrade path.
I downloaded the beta-6-one click stuff and just run the rest of the
updates, it seems this has worked smoothless. That was a nice suprise.
