Beta Expiry and Upgrades

Folks,

As you probably have realised, the beta keys expire at the end of this
month. We're working hard to get the new website and ordering system up
before November 1st. Hence, you should be able to order a real upgrade
at that point. The price of the upgrade will be $275 (+EU VAT). The
full price of D6Pro will be $475 (+EU VAT). People who ordered DPro
after 1/1/2004 will only pay $125 following the agreement announced on
the website.

Just for your peace of mind, if we can't get the purchasing working by
that date we'll issue replacement beta keys for all the beta testers.

Also note that DCE and a DPRO trial will not be available immediately
after the D6 launch. This will be for a limited period, probably of
about a month. This is partly for marketing reasons and partly to give
us more time to set up the registration systems for these products.

Cool. Around the price I was hoping for!

I guess that means you guys are doing away with the subscription license
concept?

Also just keeping in mind. 1st of November happens for us convicts a little
sooner than you pommies :)

I know, I know. As always everything is a bit of a rush here but we are
still going to be able to release the new site today (even if it won't
be complete). You may have to live without service for a few hours
though.. but that serves you right for having better weather than we do!
