Beta patch level 2 - initial reactions

Bill Schwab
Blair,

Hats off on the new component and (especially!!!) type library registering
icons.  Sadly I didn't see them until after a great opportunity to try the
latter, but they will be quite welcome additions.

The transcript:

(1) open the transcript
(2) in a workspace, use #show: (just in case that matters) and #cr to output
a few lines
(3) click on the transcript, try the clear menu command; I find that it does
not work
(4) click on another Dolphin shell and then on the transcript again; now
clear works.

I _think_ the above is new to the patch.  I noticed it on win2k, and
confirmed it on win98 by filing the patch into a much older D5 image that
just happened to lurk on that box, and got the same results.  Prior to
patching that older image, all was well.  I have the flash behavior
disabled.

Have a good one,

Bill

Thanks Bill. This is caused by the 995 patch not resetting the Transcript
having modified the view definition. I think you will find that executing:

    TranscriptShell reset

will fix the problem (you will of course loose the current Transcript
contents when you do that). If not please let me know.

Regards
