We know about this. There are still things to do in this area, but we will probably have to come back to it later, after we get a better infrastructure for widgets (such as MVVM).

Yes, indeed :). The solution to the problem is not straight forward. Ideally, we would need to introduce the concept of a clickable surface that is larger than the drawing. Please open an issue for that on GitHub.
