Bug in "Browse Unsaved Changes"

garduino
Hi Folks:

Sometimes happens that you start working in a Cuis image, install several packages and start adding them some bits of code.

Then they get marked in the "Installed Packages" app as need to be saved, but if you want to check what are the unsaved changes, it don't show nothing.

A screenshot attached.

Cheers.

Hi Germán,

Looks like a bug. As usual, I need a means to reproduce the problem in
order to be able to fix it. Please send a list of steps to reproduce the
problem. Alternatively, you can email me a broken image privately.

Thanks,
Juan Vuletich

Hi Germán,

The problem was that all the change sets were killed on image save. Now,
we'll keep those that capture unsaved changes for some package. The fix
is on GitHub. Unfortunately, you need to re-install your packages on an
updated images, or alternatively, remove the the changesets for them,
for the fix to work.

Cheers,
Juan Vuletich

Not problem with install again and search the changes, are only 2 or 3. But the problem is that if you take a new image (#1525) and install a package, get a DNU: MessageNotUnderstood: ChangeSet class>>existingOrNewChangeSetForPackage:

Cheers.

Re: Bug in "Browse Unsaved Changes"

Juan Vuletich-4
Hi Germán,

When you got trouble, maybe you installed the updates on an image that
already included the packages. For the fix to work properly, the
instances of the change sets for the packages need to be created after
installing the updates.

In other words, take a fresh #1527 image, install your packages and work
as usual. If you see something strange, please report it.

Cheers,
Juan Vuletich
