Building instructions in README

Nicolas Petton
Hi,

A friend just tried to build the latest git version of gst, but was
confused because he didn't find anything relevant in the README file.

Shouldn't building instructions belong to the README file?

Cheers!

Nico

They are usually in an INSTALL file (but it is shared between all
packages and too complicated for 99% of the users) or, for versions
stored in a VCS, occasionally in an HACKING file.

I suppose I could copy the content of
http://smalltalk.gnu.org/download/cvs to an HACKING file.

Paolo
