Hi,
addChild: expects a BlElement not a canvas. A BlElement draws on a canvas object that is passed to it.
SpartaCanvas is an abstract class. If you want to instantiate a canvas, pick one of the subclasses.
For example, for MozCanvas, see MozExamples.
