Cincom Smalltalk roadmap info

James Robertson-7
I thought I made a general announcement, but it's possible I wasn't loud
enough (i.e., didn't cover all mail lists, etc)

We have switched to a less frequent release schedule, where we plan to put
out major releases every 9-18 months (depending on the work we need to do,
market conditions, etc).  In the interim, we plan to have patches made
available more frequently on the Wiki.  The main gating factor there is
whether a patch is

-- a one-off work-around for a particular customer, in which case it would
normally not be posted
-- a patch that will be integrated into the next release, in which case it
would normally be posted.

Would it be worthwhile to post these too -- but in a sub-section
(folder/directory or whatever), with the
proviso that they are untested and not for general consumption??  Just
so some of us can maybe run into something
applicable to us?? -- I will take "NO!" for an answer :)
