Hi all,
I had some unfinished work on the ConfigurationOfSeaside30, version 3.1.0. And now I can put some hours into it again, I can't find my latest version online. I believe I had already committed my changes to version 3.1.0. Is something rolled back, or did I forget to commit? Also I would like to repeat my suggestion to rename this configuration to "ConfigurationOfSeaside", as it is kind of strange to have a version number in the configuration. If no one is opposed, please create on smalltalk hub only the configuration under the new name, as the old name is still available from squeak source. Hi all,
I modify my suggestion, as I now see there is already a ConfigurationOfSeaside … that does different things (loads also magritte and pier). So my new suggestion is to name it ConfigurationOfSeaside3, also because upgrading from 2.8 to 3.0 is not trivial, and upgrading from 3.0 to 3.1 should be easy. We should indeed consolidate a new configuration that:
- includes all changes to the 'old' ConfigurationOfSeaside30 in the 3.0 repository - is able to load both 3.0 and 3.1 (~= the current ConfigurationOfSeaside30 in 3.1 repository) - references the new repository location Right now, the script is fetching all versions to push to the new repository location. I have created the Seaside30 repository on SmalltalkHub as being owned by the Seaside team and will proceed with moving all the related repos (including 2.8) too. I can probably assist with the configuration afterwards. Once that is done, we need to broadcast this: - update website - send out emails On 17 Jul 2013, at 16:05, Diego Lont <[hidden email]> wrote: > Hi all, > > I modify my suggestion, as I now see there is already a ConfigurationOfSeaside … that does different things (loads also magritte and pier). I forgot to add:
I agree with 'ConfigurationOfSeaside3' It's not used yet and it conveys what it is supposed to load.
