Cuis Logo

EuanM
I'm preparing a slideshow on what's good and cool in the Smalltalk world(s) atm.

I want to include Cuis.

I'm not aware of any official or semi-official logo.

I'm not even sure of the derivation or meaning of "Cuis".

Could someone point me to a logo, if there is one?

Could someone tell me more about why the project is called "Cuis"?
(And if there is nothing atm, I'll produce a logo that ties in to
that)

Cheers,
    Euan

My 0.0.3 release of a proposed interim Cuis logo is now online, on the
home page at:
http://smalltalk.uk.to/

My plan is to add it to the constellation of Smalltalk logos on the
slideshow I'm writing, until Juan and the community have a better
option.

Cheers,
    Euan

When I first looked at it, I thought "what's this bear like face looking
to the upper right? I'll need to find a polite way to say 'no'!".
Two seconds later mi brain did the click and saw the little mouse
looking towards the left.
The same happened to my 12 y.o and my wife (without me saying a word).

I love it!

Thanks,
Juan Vuletich

The Cuis logo has been endorsed by Juan, and it is now included in the
constellation of logos at:

http://smalltalk.uk.to/forRubyists.html

Thanks to everyone who helped.

I like that it has echoes of the Squeak logo, but with based on its
Argentinian name-sake.

I hope to find some time to tweak it a little more.

Re: Cuis Logo

nacho
Euan,
It's really nice! I love it.
I have just an idea. Did you tried to flip it and a slight rotation?
My first impression when I saw it is that of a bear. Now I think it's more clear.
Just my 2c.
