DLL error in VM machine for Win7

Visual Studio 2010 is now used to compile the VisualWorks virtual machine for Windows (both 32-bit and 64-bit VMs). Due to changes in the Visual Studio linker, the correct version of the Microsoft C Runtime DLLs must be installed in order to run VisualWorks (and the installer will ensure that in the 7.9 release). If you try to run a VW-DEV build of 7.9 on a Windows system and get error message

                MSVCR100.dll not found

or similar, then you do not have the correct C Runtime DLLs installed and you will need to install the redistributable runtime libraries manually.

To install the runtime, go to

Dear all,

Started with september releases of VW7.9NC, I have problems with msvcr100.dll. Windows virtual machine prompts that this DLL is missing. (This is on all Win7 versions I have installed: US, Czech, ..., Home Basic, Enterprise, Ultimate, ...)

I googled various kinds of this library, but let me ask:

1) Which version of this library is the right one?
2) Why it is not includes into VM?
