I know this sounds like a pier question, but i think it might be more seaside..
I am setting up another pier site. in the past, i set up pier in an image, and just deployed that, without working much on setting it up on a streamlined image.
Is it advisable to just download the pier image from the website, build my site, and deploy that? Thanks! ----

Hi Sergio,
Stephan and I are currently working on making Pier more easy to deploy. The configurations are both working, so it does not really matter. The pier image on the website just loads the configuration, so doing this yourself is more or less the same. By the way: how do you move your site to the production server? We are working on making the code exporter more easy to use. We are considering building an admin site that allows us to update Pier / PierAddons and our own site, after copying them to the server. Diego On Feb 6, 2014, at 3:05 PM, sergio_101 wrote:
