-1 There are lots of situations where the user needs the functionality
now and doesn't care too much how it looks. Customizing is all very nice
but takes lots of time & money. There should be something like
Seaside-Core-Widgets. First-time users should not have to download
multiple projects to get started.

Nothing is stopping individuals from creating distros with certain
packages preloaded.

squeak-web is a great example.

I'd keep the core small.

I'm also like the idea of a small robust core. Specially to evade overheading
the focus of the Seaside development/maintenance team.

Let Seaside inhabitants to have their own "childrens" which are certainly able
to grow happy at such a nice beach.
