Disable or readonly for an InputField

Is there a way to make an input field readonly or to disable it ?

Look at WebElement>>show, hide, toggle, maybe in combination with
WebFormElement>>activate, focus, select, if that can be of help. But we
can add such a method which seems useful. Something like #readOnly?
