Does Comet Example Work?

Runar Jordahl
I tried the example examples/comet

I opened two (visible) browser windows on the URL.
Both show count 0.
I then press ++ in one window, but the other window does not update.

I assume this is bug:
http://code.google.com/p/iliadproject/issues/detail?id=13

This issue was recorded a year ago. Does this mean that Iliad is not
actively maintained?

Kind regards
Runar

Hi,

Yes, it looks like the bug you described. Iliad is maintained, even if
we didn't do a release recently, being busy with other projects.

Comet events push to other sessions, here it looks like you try to push
to the same session from another tab/window.

Cheers,
Nico

I got it working after being told that "(...) events push to other
sessions, here it looks like you try to push to the same session from
another tab/window." So I opened two different browser (IE and Chrome)
and pointed to the same page.

Maybe http://code.google.com/p/iliadproject/issues/detail?id=13 should
be closed?

Kind regards
Runar
