Well it is by design in so far as Dolphin expects to be installed on a per
user basis. You'll only get the shortcut icons and the file type
associations if you run the installer for any particular user. The easiest
thing to do is to run the install again (to the same directory). You won't
waste much space because the common files are shared. You will, however, get
a new default image for the new user.
