Armin, don't worry, ObjectStudio is alive and well ;-). Since the demise
of comp.lang.smalltalk.objectstudio though, the ObjectStudio user
community has never really taken to any particular forum like vwnc or
vw-dev to communicate amongst themselves. I see that the ObjectStudio
forum at forum.world.st is empty, I was not aware of that one. The best
forum for this kind of message to other ObjectStudio users would be the
ost-dev mailing list. It looks like forum.world.st just replicates the
vwnc mailing list. It would not be possible to have it replicate ost-dev
in the same way, since ost-dev is for registered customers only.
I know LESS has a case open with support for this drag and drop
question. I thought I understood that it was only a problem with the
Designer, but it sounds like it may be more general, I'll have a closer
look at that.

I write to this forum because in the ObjectStudio forum there are no
entries.
Therefore I think that the ObjectStudio forum is some kind of orphaned.
Another reason could be that no one on our beautiful planet except me is
using ObjectStudio as a development platform. I do not hope so :-)
The problem is that under Windows 7 you cannot see drag&drop operations.
1. Start ObjectStudio
2. Start Designer: Menu File -> New Interface 3. Open New Item: FormItem
-> New Item
Now drag an item to the form. There is no drag icon which will show up.
Also our application which is still developed using ObjectStudio Version
7 has this problem.
Is there probably a workaround available?
