Folks,
I'm just working on a purchase option to allow early upgrades from DPro4 to DPro5 which will (obviously) issue full serial numbers. This will be ready today (April 30th) so you'll be able to keep working after the May 1st expiry of the beta image. Please make sure you export your packages before we cross the datetline. The release software will still not be available until May 3rd, however, so you'll have to use RC1 for the time being. Ok, you can now purchase upgrades to D5 Pro (from any version of D4) using this link: http://www.digibuy.com/cgi-bin/order.html?ObjectArts+88434660987 Just as a cross check you should find the upgrade price from D4pro to D5Pro is $189.95 (+17.5% VAT in the EC). I've just noticed a bug where the unlock dialog in RC1 gives a walkback if you supply an invalid D4 key. It does seem to work ok if the key is correct, however. If you have any problems with the order process or unlocking please let us know in this NG ASAP. Andy and Blair,
It appears to have gone smoothly. The only wrinkle was that Digibuy didn't recognize my ID; they probably simply purged it. I think the moral there is that it's been too long since you sold t-shirts :) The instructions to leave the ID blank and try again worked, the key arrived very quickly by email after the transaction completed, and it unlocked the image. FYI - my transaction went as smoothly as Bill's. They also didn't know
about me either so I took the same path he did - jlo Andy Bower wrote: > Folks, > > >>I'm just working on a purchase option to allow early upgrades from DPro4 > > to > >>DPro5 which will (obviously) issue full serial numbers.
