Has anyone got any dev experience of Electron?

From it's home page it aims to create a write-once-run-anywhere experience using JS and node.js
Electron strikes me as potentially a good target platform to write Amber for.
But equally, it is a platform that could take many Smalltalk lunches. And we seem permanently short of spare lunches.we don't have many lunches left.
