This is a fairly general message that is often a proxy for some other error. That is, some other error occurs, and as a result the system tries to bring up a debugger, or write an error log, before it is in a state to legitimately do that. Finding out the other error would probably give an indicator of whether or not you can fix it. The image might have generated an error.log file. Or you might be able to find out the problem by other means. Running with -nogui can sometimes help, or runnign with the debug VM command-line option -o10s (if you enjoy reading through lots and lots of information).
