Feature Request for Settings Framework

It appears that the 8.6.1 implementation of the Settings Framework only supports application-level parameters. It would be good if each sub-application had the same degree of control.

Is there any reason it is limited to applications only?

Because no one (at the time) identified the need for subapplication-level granularity. Do you have a specific identifiable need or is this just a theoretical question?

You are correct that this is theoretical at this time.

OK, I'll add it to the list for possible implementation in a future release.
