File/Save Image As… too fast timeout on OS X 10.7.3

Ken G. Brown
OS X 10.7.3, VisualWorks® Release  7.8 of March 30, 2011

I am finding that when trying to do a File/Save Image As..., if don't get the new file name selected/typed within about ten seconds the image hangs with the Save As dialog open and apparently the only option is to force quit.

Anyone else seeing this?
Is there a work around?

Thx for any tips,
Ken

The work around is to swap back to non-native dialogs. I'd like to know if you see this problem in 7.8.1, because (correct me if I'm wrong), I believe the 7.8.1 VM includes the signal fixes.

UI.Dialog useNativeDialogs: false

Cheers,
Michael

I didn't get around to trying 7.8.1, however I just tried the new 7.9 and the File Save dialog works correctly now. Yay!
