Finding Changed Packages in Enhanced Package Browser

Perhaps the only downside of the new package browser is locating changed
packages.  If they are down in the hierarchy somewhere, it might be easy to
overlook them.

Perhaps an small red triangle on a folder could indicate there are changed
packages somewhere down in the hierarchy.  Or a function that finds the next
changed package, or a switch to change one of the lists to show a flat list
of changed packages only.

Well, if one selects the root of the hierarchy the list displays all
packages, which is effectively the same as the old package browser. One big
difference, of course, is that the base system is now subdividied into many
more packages, and that does make it more difficult to use that list.

That is a possibility. We'd have to think about implementation
practicalities, but I think it would be feasible.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I think we could quite easily filter down the
list and have a toggling toolbar button to switch it in and out.

Duh!  You got me there ;>  This is probably fine, which for me would
priortize any of the proposals I made to a low priority.
