hum I think that is too much effort to make it work nicely
- check if folder exists
- check if contents are not the same
- then you might ask the user to override the pharo-vm folder

The first version of the zeroconf scripts used to override the pharo-vm folder directly, but I think it is never a good idea to automatically replace folders...

according to you what should happen exactly when pharo-vm exists already?
