the backport of the new config browser really serious
and took action:
I heavily tested the tool and the applied fixes today
and yes - I really found two outstanding bugs:
- with the new filter the switching of repos did not
update the list since the cache of configs was not invalidated
- the "browse" functionality to open the repo URL
uses NBWin32Shell which is windows only
These two things will be fixed with this issue and I
tested them heavily too. The changes are totally local
to the tool - no effect onto other parts of the system.
Please note:

I know it is not the best way to provide fixes at this
very late point in time before release. But the new config
browser is really an improvement and we already started with
the backport.
I really want to provide it with the Pharo 2.0 summer release
since I have now seen enough newcomers struggling with
the old tool when they do their first baby steps in Pharo
(not to forget the confusion of "Verified" vs. "Unverified").
