Successfully tested in 30385 to resolve the reported problem. It now produces 'DuplicatedSlotName' a correct exception per attached image.  However I'd like to discuss that before closing the issue.  Is that the final solution? or only interim so you can better observe things while you are rooting around deep in the guts of Pharo ?  Although I am personally comfortable with the pre-debug window, I don't consider it generally suitable for a debugger to appear in response to a user error "trying to define a duplicate variable".  

So please advise on the next action...
1. Should I just close this issue since you the appearance of the debugger is considered the final solution.
2. Should I open another issue to deal with catching the exception
3. Leaving this issue open with a lower priority, to be completed before 3.0 release.
