Its not only a specialized help topic. It is also inlcuding a CPTCloneTool (which is referenced in last topic page) that allows you to
1. clone your own pharo fork (like https://github.com/astares/pharo) into a local subfolder 2. Get the contributor in synch with latest development - fetch/pull the latest changes in branch #development from github.com/pharo-project/pharo locally - pushes these changes to your own pharo fork (like https://github.com/astares/pharo) 3. setup Iceberg to connect and synch with this local repo clone and make "pharo" repo visible in Iceberg
So after using
CPTCloneTool run
the image is ready to contribute and create a branch for a bugfix. Also note that this tool is using the command line "git" via #system: calls.
It follows what Pavel once described on how to contribute.
Yesterday Esteban mentioned in the techtalk that contribution is now different: one clones github.com/pharo-project/pharo directly with Iceberg. The menu he showed is not available in latest Iceberg Pharo 7 - so I'm confused.
If Iceberg has many things integrated (like the cloning) already I would suggest to proceed with this bug like this:
We should build a similar help topic as in my "Contribution-Tool" and add just that with the process briefly described that it fits Iceberg.
