Fonts not found under Windows 2000

Christian Haider-2
Hi all,

a client reported a strange phenomenon:
After startup of their Windows 2000 machine, some fonts are not visible from VW (7.4.1) (Screen default listFontNames).
The fonts are costum Type-1 PostScript fonts. When removing the fonts from the Windows fonts folder and reinstalling them, verything is fine - until the next reboot.

Any ideas?

Cheers,
    Christian

I have seen that issue many years ago.  The solution was to modify some
setting on the client machine settings Something along the lines --
"show True Type fonts only" in the Fonts folder property dialog.

Apparently PostScripts fonts do not qualify as "windows true type" or
something.  But it should help.
