Freedom and Copyright (was Re: [squeak-dev] Re: what is holding back Smalltalk?)

Once computers fill huge rooms and cost million dollars, not today.
Once knowledge was only for few, who try to keep for themselves.
Now Internet provides sources of knowledge for many.
In many countries , people don't care about licenses, they piracy any
software they need.
At some point in the non distant future, the trouble could be not who have
the rights.
