I had a look at the repository https://github.com/amber-smalltalk/amber for the amber-dev package that you are maintaining. I see that you are using Grunt. I have built a GitHub markdown preprocessor Gitdown (https://github.com/gajus/gitdown). It adds additional functionality (e.g. generating table of contents, including documents, using variables, etc.) to the GitHub markdown. It integrates easily with Grunt and it will help you to maintain the documentation.

I am seeking for feedback from developers who are maintaining several node packages and I would appreciate your feedback.

If you see it as a useful addition to your build script, I can help you with integration and answer any questions that you might have.
