GNU Smalltalk Binaries

Giuseppe
Hi list,

I would like to give a try and check this itneresting project.

I would like if somebody has binaries for Windows and MacOS.

And one question. In the wiki I didn't found the "concept" of Image, or
environment.

GNU Smalltalk is more somehing like a scripting language, and all this
advantages ar losed?

Exists some debugger, browsers with GUI?

Cheers and thanks for your time.

For MacOS you can use macports (see http://www.macports.org/install.php
for installation information), which is a collection of "recipes" to
build binaries on your computer.  Package "gst" is for the stable
version, while package "gst-dev" is for the development version (with
Seaside, Cairo, LibSDL).

There is no such system for Windows at the moment.

Right now it's mostly like a scripting language.  In the future, the
current browser may be improved.

Yes, you can run one with "gst-blox".
