maintenance release including feature enhancements and fixes for a
number of bugs. We encourage all GemStone/S customers to upgrade to this
release.

Spectre and Meltdown chip vulnerabilities, specifically on Red Hat ES
v6.x and 7.x with the latest security patches. Performance has been in
line with industry reports; the impact varies depending on the specific
GemStone operation and details of the hardware and virtualization of the
test system.
