Excellent news ... You might want to run all of the tests just to be sure ... I run all of the GLASS, Seaside and Pier tests against each release to ensure that the tests run clean. If any tests fail runing under Ubuntu 12.04 that might be an indication of a "hidden" problem ...
Just to be clear, you are able to use GemTools against 3.1.0.4 on Ubuntu 13.04 when you use the host name and it fails when you use the IP address ... is that correct?
